The MoneyMaker Hip Pump is a portable, manually-operated pump designed by KickStart International for use in irrigation by small-scale farmers. The design is based on a hand-pump attached to a hinged platform, allowing users to use their leg, body weight, and momentum. KickStart aims to help small-holder farmers to start family enterprises using the pump, thereby enabling the farmers to lift their families out of poverty.
