E4C Visualized: The Siemens Design Challenge Impact and Ideas

Can conscientious design change lives in the world’s underserved communities? In an effort to demonstrate that design can make a difference, hundreds of engineers and product designers have submitted their ideas to the Innovate for Impact: Siemens Design Challenge. Our international panel of experts distilled the entries down to eight. The eight fall into two tracks that meet the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals: Zero Hunger and Clean Water. We announced the shortlisted designs and then the finalists in July.
