The Malaika Jiko (MJ) is a Top-Lit UpDraft (TLUD) smokeless gasification cook stove. It is designed to burn biomass, including wood, corn husks, cow dung, coffee husks and dried biomass briquettes with up to 75% of fuel savings. The cookstove’s modular design enables cooking with the remaining charcoal from the wood burning.

The product was designed by Wisdom Stoves and is manufactured and distributed by Wisdom Innovations. The manufacturing facility is based in North Kinangop in Kenya and expansion plans are currently on-going in Zimbabwe.
