SunZilla is a portable and modular, pop-up solar-powered generator.
The SunZilla 3.0 Solar Generator prototype is an open-source, portable, modular and plug and play technology intended for off-grid solar energy production. The Sunzilla team is located in Berlin, Germany. The company, however, was discontinued in 2017.
The SunZilla team is focused on communities and projects in Europe. SunZilla plans to launch their product in Germany and a looking to enter the developing areas of the world.
SunZilla is the sole distributor of the solar generator.

The primary competitor of SunZilla is IEEE Smart Village SunBlazer II . Other competitors include off-grid energy systems such as micro-hydro, wind turbines, biodigesters or diesel gen-sets.
Goal 7: Affordable and clean energy
The SunZilla has a wide range of users, ranging from residential yards to small businesses. The Sunzilla has also been used across Europe at events, festivals, refugee camps, and emergency situations.
