The SM100 is a solar lamp that can be used both as a desk lamp or hanging light.
The SM100 is a product developed for SolarAid by Yingli Solar, that is a branded product of SunnyMoney which is SolarAid’s social enterprise. It is a solar light that can be used as hand held torch, a freestanding light or attach a strap and wear it as a headtorch.
The product is manufactured by Yingli Namene which sells the SM100 in small quantitys, but SolarAid distributes for below a pallet volume. Since the product is under SunnyMoney‘s brand it can also be obtained through them.
Anyone interested in contributing with SolarAid’s cause can buy the product directly from SolarAid at a price of approximately $12 USD. SolairAid sells the SM100 to their final target users in Africa at $5 USD.
The SM100 competes with other solar lamps available in the market such as Nokero N200, Nokero N202, Nokero N233, MPOWERD Luci Original, and SolarAid D.Light A2.
