System to capture energy from moving vehicles
The Road Power system captures the kinetic energy from moving automobiles. It can be installed in locations such as entrance roads, private roadways, or on the pavement of a parking lot. Approximately 50% of the kinetic energy of every passing vehicle which decelerates by braking is lost. This system can eliminate this loss by recovering this energy and converting it to electricity. The recovered energy is then utilized for purposes including energy storage, electric vehicle charging, facility power, and smart parking lots.
