The costs for the Guatemala pilot, including initial development of the platform and Dimagi’s CommCare user license, multiple in-country workshops, hardware and staff travel totalled approximately 300,000 USD.
The ongoing program costs are around 150,000 USD per year depending on the amount of training materials needed and travel costs.
The Rainforest Alliance anticipates that the recurring expenses will decrease once training materials, initial user interface translations, and in-country training have been completed.Data from 2017
