The PowerPal T1 Turgo micro-hydroelectric generator has a power output range from 660 W to 2.0 kW depending on head and flow. It has twin nozzles and is fitted with a 1 kW capacity generator. All or part of the stream flow is diverted through a 12 cm diameter steel penstock pipe and down to the turbine. An electronic load controller controls the output voltage and frequency.
