Oxacrete is a mineral-based chemical and non-toxic additive made by Oxara, a Swiss-based start-up, which can be mixed with excavation waste and/or sludge to produce cement-free concrete. Oxacrete can improve the workability of the earth mixture for processing and casting, which can be 1-3 days. As of October 2019, Oxara AG incorporated and looking for business developers, industry partners, and customers. The proof of concepts was implemented in Rwanda and Portugal and an industrial demonstration was adopted by a Swiss recycling company, Kibag.
