OX Truck is an all-terrain vehicle designed for transporting containers. The vehicle can be ‘flat-packed’ to reduce importation costs by increasing the units per container.

Three prototypes have been developed and Ox Truck is now in partnership with Shell to begin pre-production. Ox Truck has additionally commissioned a vehicle in India for demonstration and validation purposes.

The OX truck is designed to carry up to 1,900 kg and with a load area volume of up to 8.87 cubic meters. It can handle most terrains, with a power train ground clearance of 250 m and chassis ground clearance of 400 m. It is flat-packed and this allows packing of up to 6 vehicles in a single container.

It is powered by a 2 L, 4 cylinder, 16 valve diesel engine linked to a 5-speed manual gear-box, with a top speed of around 75 mph and an acceleration from rest to 60 mph capable of producing 385 Nm torque and a power output of 100 hp.

Available by import. Interchangeable body panels mean lower spare parts count to stock. The OX’s body panels are made from composite wood which is locally available and hence can be easily replaced.^{Interview with representative}

The OX-truck has undergone durability and reliability trials at the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire, UK and at the IDIADA Test Facility in Catalonia, Spain.
Hot weather testing was undertaken at the IDIADA Test Facility and across rural and off-road terrain in Catalonia, Spain.
