The Go 250 is a pico-solar lantern with a maximum output of 120 lumens, brightness control, and the ability to charge a mobile phone. Once fully charged by the sun, the lantern can run for 5 hours on its brightest setting, to 60 hours on its dimmest setting (three brightness settings in total). The lantern meets the requirements of the Lighting Global Minimum Quality Standards and is additionally certified by VeraSol, a leader in pico-solar products. It additionally comes with a 4 W plug-and-play solar panel to charge the device.

The product has an onboard lithium-ion battery that is charged during the day through the sun by its included solar panel. The stored power is then used to illuminate the light as well as charge any small devices through a USB cable.
