The CERN HEV Ventilator was developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is currently undergoing testing. The device features pressure-controlled modes prioritized based on their importance for COVID-19 treatment, including PC-A/C mode, PC-A/C-PRVC mode, PC-PSV mode, and CPAP. An integrated controls system is powered by 119-230 VAC and a touch screen interface. This product has not yet undergone testing as of 2020.

This product was selected for inclusion in WHO’s 2021 Compendium of Innovative Health Technologies for Low‐Resource Settings.
