The Aqus filters comprise one filter, one adapter and one filter cleaning syringe. The Aqus filter can treat down to 0.01 micron size with bacteria removal up to log scale 6. The design and installation do not require electricity and the product has no moving parts. The following video demonstrates the functionality. The filter weighs 46.4 g. The different parts included in the bucket kit and faucet kit are available in the tech specifications.

Water from the Aqusafe filter was tested for filtration efficacy by Biological Consulting Services and found to remove microspheres and bacteria. The filter was also analyzed by the Uganda National Bureau of Standards and passed their seven water quality parameters.
