Agriworks Mobile Irrigation Systems

The AMIS-Foundation is a frame mounted to a motorcycle which contains a gasoline pump, 160 meters of pipe, pipe fittings, sprinkler heads, a tripod, and a toolbox. Other attachments include a rain gun sprinkler, impact sprinklers, and a drip kit. The rain gun sprikler uses a booster pump and can irrigate up to six acres. The impact sprinklers use rapid-connect pipes and four low-pressure sprinklers to irrigate up to four acres. The drip kit can be installed into a 1/8 acre to one acre field.

Testing performed by the manufacturer found that their system doubled farmers’ irrigated area, increased the value of their yearly production three-fold, and had twice as many harvesting weeks, however, no third-party testing has been completed.
